Alex Song - Will he return, how will he fit in?

Latest info it he's in Barcelona thrashing out his future with the club president. Word is he wants to come back to West Ham on a permanent, but at what price.
We seem to have signed a lot a creative midfield and attacking talent in recent week, is there still a place for Alex and will it happen?

Most reports seem to suggest that personal terms are agreed with Song but the club are awaiting news on whether he definitely needs an op and if so how long it will keep him out for before agreeing terms with Barcelona.

As I've said before.... he will sign on deadline day.
Last minute deal will keep him on higher Barca wages and off our payroll until the last minute.

Hope so, he's a class player & we can't have too many of those
We want him, he wants to play for us. Obviously nothing much can be done until the result of his operation is known
Apparently, he had the op on Monday & it's supposed to be relatively uncomplicated ~ but then we're West Ham & nothing is ever uncomplicated for us!
